
Terms & Conditions of Service
Welcome to the Boss Women membership program. By subscribing to any level of membership, training program provided by Boss Women, you ("Member") agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions (referred to herein as "Terms"). These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Boss Women Entrepreneurship Training Program (the "Company"), an initiative dedicated to supporting the growth and development of women entrepreneurs by providing resources, networking opportunities, and educational services aimed at enhancing business acumen and success. Please read these Terms carefully. Your access to and use of the membership services signify your acceptance of these Terms and your agreement to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not subscribe to or use the Boss Women membership services.
1. Eligibility
Membership and/or enrolment to the Boss Women programs is open to any woman who identifies as an entrepreneur or seeks to become one, and who is at least 18 years of age at the time of your registration. You must agree to provide and maintain accurate, truthful, and complete registration information and notify Boss Women promptly of any changes. By registering, you confirm that you meet these criteria and that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside. Membership is intended for personal use, and you agree not to create multiple accounts or transfer your membership without the express consent of Boss Women.
2. Membership Benefits
As a member of Boss Women, you gain access to a suite of exclusive benefits designed to support your entrepreneurial journey. These benefits include, but are not limited to, access to premium content such as advanced business guides and case studies, invitations to members-only events featuring industry leaders and networking opportunities, and special access to workshops and seminars focused on business skills development. Each tier of membership offers a tailored set of advantages, detailed further on our website and in membership communications. Benefits are subject to change based on availability and may evolve to better suit the needs of our community.
3. Fees and Payments
Membership/Program fees for the Boss Women program are due at the time of registration and must be paid in accordance with the billing terms selected during enrollment. Members may choose from available billing options, including monthly or annual payment plans, as detailed on our website and in your account settings.
The exact fee and billing cycle applicable to your membership tier will be displayed during registration and confirmed via email. All fees are quoted in Canadian dollars unless otherwise specified and are exclusive of applicable taxes.
Unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws (such as cooling-off periods or statutory rights to refunds), all fees are non-refundable. Members are responsible for ensuring that their payment information is accurate and up to date. Failure to process a payment due to insufficient funds, expired payment methods, or administrative errors may result in suspension or cancellation of services.
Boss Women reserves the right to modify membership fees or payment structures with a minimum of 14 days' advance notice sent by email or posted on our website. Continued use of the services after the effective date of any fee change will be deemed acceptance of the updated pricing. If you do not agree with the revised fees, you may cancel your membership prior to the new fee effective date through your account dashboard or by contacting Member Support.
4. Membership Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct outlines the behaviors expected of all members of Boss Women to maintain the integrity and professional standards of our community. Compliance with this code is mandatory for all members, affiliates, and participants in any Boss Women event or program.
a. Best Practices and Behavioral Expectations
Professional Integrity: Members are expected to conduct themselves with honesty and integrity in all business dealings. This includes truthful communication, ethical handling of conflicts of interest, and respect for contractual obligations and confidentiality.
Respect and Fairness: Treat all individuals with respect, dignity, and fairness. This includes abstaining from any form of harassment, discrimination, or any other behavior that could be deemed offensive or inappropriate.
Collaboration and Communication: Encourage a collaborative environment where open and effective communication is maintained, and where feedback is given constructively.
Compliance with Laws: Members must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules, and conduct their business operations in compliance with the same.
Representation of the Community: When participating in events or when publicly representing Boss Women, members are expected to act in a manner that positively reflects on the community’s values and objectives.
b. Prohibited Activities
No Harassment or Discrimination: Harassment in any form, including physical, sexual, verbal, or other, is strictly prohibited. This also extends to any discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, or any other characteristic protected under applicable laws.
Avoidance of Conflicts of Interest: Members must avoid situations where their personal interests could conflict, or appear to conflict, with the interests of Boss Women or its stakeholders.
No Illegal Activities: Engaging in illegal activities, either directly or indirectly, is prohibited. This includes theft, fraud, corruption, embezzlement, or other activities that undermine the legal and ethical standards of the community.
Confidentiality: Members are expected to safeguard and not disclose any proprietary, confidential, or sensitive information about Boss Women or any third party without proper authorization.
c. Enforcement and Sanctions
Violations of this Code of Conduct can result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to suspension or termination of membership, exclusion from Boss Women events and programs, and legal action if applicable. The severity of the sanctions will depend on the nature of the violation.
d. Reporting and Handling Violations
Members are encouraged to report any suspected violations of this Code of Conduct through established reporting channels, which may include a designated ethics officer or through an anonymous reporting system. Boss Women commits to investigating all reported incidents with discretion and confidentiality, ensuring that no retaliation will occur against anyone who makes a report in good faith.
5. Account and Security
As a member of the Boss Women program, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Boss Women immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. The integrity of your account contributes to the overall security of the membership platform and the protection of your personal and business information. Boss Women will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these security obligations.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Boss Women is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our members. We collect personal data such as names, email addresses, demographic information, professional backgrounds, and other data relevant to membership registration and service provision. This information is collected to enhance the functionality and services offered to our members, to personalize user experience, and to communicate updates, offers, and organizational news that may be of interest. Data collection is also instrumental for conducting market research and analytical assessments to continually improve our services. By becoming a member, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with this policy, as may be amended from time to time.
Protecting your personal data is a top priority for Boss Women. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information. These measures include advanced data encryption, secure channels for data transmission, and strict access controls to personal data. Only authorized personnel have access to personal data, and they are required to treat this information as confidential. Despite our efforts, no security measures are completely infallible; in the event of a data breach, Boss Women will take immediate steps to mitigate any damage and will inform the affected individuals in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
7. Use of Services
As a member of Boss Women, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the services provided solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. These services include, but are not limited to, access to educational materials, events, community platforms, and digital resources made available through your membership.
You agree not to:
· Use any part of the service or its content for resale, sublicensing, or other commercial exploitation;
· Engage in unauthorized distribution, duplication, or alteration of content;
· Interfere with or disrupt the security or functionality of the platform;
· Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code;
· Violate the intellectual property rights of Boss Women or any third party;
· Use the service in any unlawful manner or for any unlawful purpose.
Boss Women utilizes advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning tools, to deliver personalized content, enhance platform functionality, and ensure service integrity. By using our services, you acknowledge and consent to the integration of such technologies into your user experience. We are committed to transparency in how these technologies operate and protect member data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Violation of any part of this clause may result in immediate suspension or termination of your membership, and where applicable, legal action. Boss Women reserves the right to investigate misuse and cooperate with legal authorities when necessary.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
a. Ownership of Intellectual Property
Member-Created Content: All intellectual property rights in content created and shared by members within the Boss Women community, including but not limited to posts, comments, documents, videos, and images, remain the property of the originating member. Boss Women does not claim ownership of any intellectual property that members post or provide through the services.
Boss Women Content: All content provided by Boss Women, including but not limited to texts, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software, is the property of Boss Women or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws. Boss Women retains all rights, title, and interest in content originated by it.
b. Licensing of Member Content
By posting, uploading, or submitting content to any part of the Boss Women platform, members grant Boss Women a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media. This license exists only for as long as members choose to continue to include such content on the Boss Women platform and will terminate at the time the member or Boss Women removes the content.
c. Use of Boss Women Intellectual Property
Members may use Boss Women's intellectual property, such as trademarks, logos, and service marks found on the service, only with the prior written permission of Boss Women and in accordance with any guidelines or branding policies that may be issued by Boss Women. Unauthorized use of any Boss Women intellectual property may violate copyright and trademark laws and could result in civil and criminal penalties.
d. Protection of Intellectual Property
Boss Women respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its members to do the same. Any unauthorized use of copyrighted material or trademarks that belongs to Boss Women or third parties, without the express permission of the respective owner, is strictly prohibited and could be subject to legal action.
e. Reporting Infringements
Members are encouraged to report any instances of intellectual property infringement involving Boss Women services to our legal department. Boss Women commits to investigating such reports and will take appropriate action, including but not limited to removing the infringing material from the service.
9. Termination and Cancellation
Members may cancel their membership at any time by contacting Boss Women customer service or through the account management features on our website. Upon cancellation, members will have access to their benefits until the end of the current paid period, after which no further charges will be incurred. Boss Women reserves the right to suspend or terminate a member's account and access to the services if there is a breach of these Terms, including but not limited to non-payment of fees, misuse of the services, or behavior that adversely affects other members or the operation of the services. In cases of termination for cause, Boss Women will provide the member with a notice of termination and no refunds will be provided for any prepaid fees.
10. Modifications to Terms and Services
These Terms and any related agreements, policies, or disputes arising out of or in connection with your use of the Boss Women services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
By agreeing to these Terms, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, for the resolution of any legal disputes not subject to arbitration under these Terms. This clause ensures that legal proceedings take place in a predictable and clearly defined legal environment that protects both you and Boss Women.
11. Liability Limitation
In the event of a dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of Boss Women services (a “Dispute”), the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter amicably through informal discussions. Either party may initiate this process by providing written notice to the other party, and both parties shall make good-faith efforts to resolve the Dispute within thirty (30) days of such notice.
If the Dispute cannot be resolved through informal negotiation within this period, it shall be settled by confidential, binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, or by another arbitration body agreed upon by both parties. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator in Toronto, Ontario, and shall be held in the English language. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding and may be enforced in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Each party shall bear its own costs and legal fees, unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Boss Women reserves the right to seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to protect its intellectual property, confidential information, or enforce rights not suitable for arbitration.
Members may opt out of this arbitration clause by providing written notice to Boss Women within thirty (30) days of accepting these Terms. Opt-out notices must include the member’s full name, mailing address, and a clear statement of the intent to opt out of arbitration, and should be sent to hello@bosswomentraining.com
This clause is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA) and shall survive the termination of your membership or any other relationship with Boss Women.

12. Dispute Resolution
By registering for, accessing, or using the Boss Women membership services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, including all policies and any future modifications published by Boss Women.
Your continued use of the services following notice of any changes—whether by email, platform notification, or publication on our website—constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the services and cancel your membership prior to the effective date of the changes.
It is your responsibility to regularly review these Terms and any associated policies. Boss Women recommends printing or saving a copy of these Terms for your records.
By clicking “I Agree,” checking a consent box, or otherwise affirmatively accepting these Terms electronically during the registration or renewal process, you provide the legal equivalent of your handwritten signature and consent to enter into a binding agreement with Boss Women.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for and using the services provided by Boss Women, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including any future modifications. Your continued use of the services after any such changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to abide by these or any future Terms, do not use or access (or continue to use or access) the services. It is your responsibility to regularly check the Boss Women platform to determine if there have been changes to these Terms and to review such changes.
